Welcome to the second edition of "News & Views" from Visual Hues Photography! I use this newsletter to share some of my favourite images, tell you about upcoming promotions & new products, and other fun bits of information. Please feel free to pass on to your friends and family to share the news.

Featured Photo Shoot

Love at first sight? Well, I instantly fell in love with this little guy. He had the most adorable range of expressions and he was kind enough to share them all with us in front of the camera. We worked with a couple different backgrounds and simple props and this is what we came up with!

Featured Storyboards

A trip to Sandy Beach with this sweet little girl turned into one of my favourite storyboards this summer. Her new sunhat worked perfectly into the photos and made her look like more of an angel than she already is!

Combining a maternity and newborn shoot resulted in this collage of the stunning couple and their handsome newborn.

New Product and Services!

Folios and Albums

Visual Hues Photography is introducing new ways to present your photos and is pleased to offer clients ‘Maxima” folios and albums. The 8x8 six or twelve page albums have a variety of page layouts to choose from and are truly a beautiful, quality album. With the folios there are two options: book style or wing style. Both folios and albums come in lime green, blue or pink. Perfect for gift giving!

Birthday Party Shoots

As a mom or dad organizing a birthday party for your little one, the last thing you have time for is taking great photos of the special day. So leave it to me!! I’ll come to your party location and capture all the special moments of the celebration! Here are some examples of a recent birthday party I had the pleasure of attending.

Believe it or not … Christmas is Coming!

The leaves started falling right on schedule – just as kids were taking their first steps to school for another year! With the first week of school complete, it means Halloween is just around the corner, with yes, Christmas coming up close behind. In order to ensure you have prints ready for Christmas giving, be sure to book your session before November 30th. All orders will have to be in by December 11th to guarantee being finished in time for Christmas. (Note: Storyboards will need to be ordered by December 4th) Remember you can order re-prints from shoots earlier in the year as well!

Personal News!

Here is a photo of our sweet little Hailey which was taken during snack time. She is certainly used to the camera by now and is a perfect little model. In December, she will turn two and in late January she will become a big sister. Yes, we are expecting our second little baby and are very excited about our new addition! I will take a tiny break from photography as we all get settled in and then I will be back at it, offering limited sessions at first and then more and more as time goes on. So if you’d like to get in a photo session beforehand, be sure to give me a call soon!
