It's a nice way to start your day or give you that smile you need in the middle of the afternoon! I am SO looking forward to another fabulous year working with each one of you! Wall DisplaysMore and more, I am becoming a wall portrait person. In the past, I have had 5x7's and 8x10's everywhere ... shelves, bookcases, end tables. Now, I am looking to showcase the gorgeous images of my family and having a wall display in a key location has such impact. Much more impact for myself and my visitors than smaller desk portraits scattered about. My personal philosophy now is...put the small images in an album, so at least I know I have them all, and then pick my absolute favourites to display in a beautiful arrangement on my walls. Time and again, I hear from clients that they want to do wall arrangements, but have a difficult time visualizing displays and how to arrange the wall portraits from their sessions. To help with the visualization process, I have put together various sample wall displays that we can use as a guide for your ordering. These might also give you ideas for the complimentary wall display that is up for grabs -- see the contest below! The wall display samples feature my little clients, so you should at least see if your little one is in there! I also wanted to show a display that one of my clients created on the wall by their stairwell with the most recent shoot we did together. They used three 8x10s, two 5x7s and two 5x5s with frames they found at Pottery Barn. I just think it looks amazing and am very tempted to steal their idea for our own stairwell! Thank you for sending through the picture!
And here are some other ideas for you! I will now be providing these to clients.Click here for more display options. One you won't want to miss!If you are planning a session with Visual Hues Photography in 2009, you'll want to know about this promotion! As I just talked about wall displays, I think it's very appropriate to have that as the prize! I am very excited about giving my clients and prospective clients the opportunity to win, yes, a full wall display! And having the contest for any shoot in the year 2009 lets everyone in on the fun, whether you're having a newborn, celebrating a first birthday, updating the family photos, or documenting with gorgeous images how your little ones are growing up! For the first 5 people to book for any given month in 2009 (April - December), I am offering the chance to receive a complimentary wall display or any wall display of equal or lesser value. I will award one complimentary wall display for every 20 people who reserve a session through this promotion... so you overall chances winning the display are at least 1 in 20. If you decide to reserve a session for a month that has already been reserved by five clients, I will let you know so that you may choose another month if you do want to be entered into the draw. Every entrant must reserve and pay for your session by March 28th. No exceptions! That's 9 days away! (and I will automatically enter those who have already paid for a session they have booked from April - December). What you'll Receive! This featured wall display! It consists of two 10x20 images and four 8x10 images mounted on standout mount and sprayed with luster coating for protection. They are ready to hang as is! You can choose any other display of equal or less value if you prefer. Retail value of this display is $950. The Fine PrintSessions much be reserved by March 28, 2009. As always, session fees are due to hold the reservations and must be received no later than April 5th, 2009. Draw will be held end of day on April 5th, 2009. Winners will be notified on April 6th and published in the next newsletter! The wall display must be redeemed at your 2009 session. Something Just for You!I am excited to tease you with a new branch of photography. As much as I love photographing newborns, babies and children, I love making women feel wonderful about themselves - to feel the beauty each and every one of us possess. So this photography session is focused solely on YOU! You will receive more information in a newsletter coming soon dedicated to this new venture which outlines how it works and pricing. Here are a few images to get you thinking!!
